Founder, Chief Scientist & Head of "Cyanofarm research centre"; a socio-scientific interventional research endeavor envisaged to mitigate problems arising out of malnutrition & simultaneously ascertaining Indian farmer's sustainability. „Cyanofarm‟ project was conceived by Ms. Deepali Dande as deployment of a system to generate nutrient dense foods & further developed by myself as a potential system to provide Indian farmers with an alternative source of income by undertaking microbial culturing; an extension to farming activities. This project has won a number (~8) of national & international awards from NIN-ICMR, University of Madras, Phycological society of America etc. Conceptualize, design, execute, analyze, troubleshoot projects and socio-scientific experiments those including techniques to transgress from laboratory to society. Writing, designing projects / proposals at national competition for pulling grants / fund raising is my forte. Project presentation and defense in front of approving committees / donors are among my core strengths. Educating, Imparting scientific knowledge, skills and training all levels / type of people as well are among my personal favorite works. A research scientist & educationist in Biological Sciences with experience of more than 11 years from various esteemed educational institutes (Univ. of Mum.) & research centers (N.C.C.S., N.I.I.H. – K.E.M. hospital, N.I.R.R.H., T.I.F.R.). As a Scientist possessing more than 9 years of experience in Biotechnology & Life Sciences (Nutrition & Health, Pedagogy, Epistemology, Algology, Protein biology, Stem cell biology & HematoOncology) sectors at Post doctoral level. International experience with the National University of Singapore, Department of Biological Sciences, Singapore for protein overexpression studies. Over 8 years of experience in macromolecule isolation, purification and biochemical characterization. Academic Credentials; Ph.D. in Life Sciences from University Department of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai and M.Sc. in Life Sciences - Biotechnology from University Department of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
