I have a strong academic background in Food Science and Food Technology, along with hands-on industry and laboratory experience, I am eager to contribute to quality assurance, food safety.
I hold an MSc in Food Science from the University of Leeds and a B.Tech in Food Technology from MIT ADT University.
During my internship at Bauli India Pvt. Ltd., I worked on a process improvement project focused on reducing cream filling losses during croissant production. Through systematic observation, analysis of process parameters, and collaboration with the production team, the project achieved success in reduction in product losses, contributing to improved overall efficiency.
Additionally, during my internship at the Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (IIFPT), I gained exposure to food processing operations, quality analysis, hygiene monitoring, and food safety practices. I am well-versed in SOP, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 Version 5.1, and I have completed Food Allergy Training from the Food Standards Agency, UK.
My academic and project experience includes product development and quality-focused research, such as developing a Corn Silk RTD beverage as a waste-utilization product and conducting research on the effect of refrigeration on anthocyanin content in pomegranate arils, which has been published.
Furthermore, my professional experience as a Healthcare Assistant has reinforced strong hygiene practices, discipline, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to work effectively in regulated environments.
