During my internship with Forvis Mazars in the Government Infrastructure and Development Advisory practice, I gained hands-on experience working on projects focused on agricultural infrastructure and value chain development. My primary responsibility was supporting the design and development of an agricultural cluster model for a Tomato Cluster in Western Uttar Pradesh. The objective of this initiative was to improve aggregation efficiency, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance value addition within the regional supply chain. As part of the project, I conducted research on agricultural supply chains, market demand, and infrastructure requirements to assess the feasibility of the cluster. I analyzed gaps in procurement, storage, and distribution systems and assisted in mapping key stakeholders, including farmers, aggregators, and storage facilities. I also supported the preparation of project documentation and analytical reports that were used to structure the cluster proposal. Through collaboration with the advisory team, I contributed to aligning infrastructure planning with market demand and investment requirements. The work ultimately supported the successful approval of the project by the National Horticulture Board (NHB). This experience strengthened my understanding of infrastructure advisory, value chain optimization, and the role of strategic planning in driving sustainable sectoral development
