i.Served as Central Licensing Authority for seven Eastern states, managing licensing, inspections, and enforcement under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 to uphold regulatory standards across a large region. ii.Led the implementation and oversight of the Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) in these states, to streamline licensing, inspection, sampling workflows, improve enforcement coordination, and reduce processing delays. iii.Conducted technical reviews and approvals for Food Business Operators (FBOs), ensuring compliance with safety, packaging, labelling, quality, and regulatory norms; flagged, corrected, or rejected applications failing to meet required standards. iv.Organized, planned, and executed multi- state enforcement drives and inspections; carried out joint-raids with state authorities; carried out search, seizure, suspensions, prohibitions during identified high- risk periods and cases to protect public health. Initiated legal action and filed 200 cases against non-compliant FBOs. v.Conducted regulatory inspections in food companies, audited operations (including reviewing third- party audit reports), and ensured adherence to FSSAI standards, HACCP, GMP, GHP, alongwith guiding FBOs to improve compliance over time. vi.Examined food sample test reports; initiated corrective actions and regulatory or legal measures (including filing of adjudication and prosecution cases) where required; addressed recurring issues in FBO operations through enforcement and regulatory follow- up. vii.Performed audits as an expert/auditor with the Export Inspection Agency, verified exporters’ compliance with national standards. viii.Strengthened coordination with various government State and Central agencies (Customs, MSME, Consumer Affairs, etc.), industry associations, and stakeholder bodies for enforcement, regulatory enhancement, training, and awareness campaigns. ix.Developed and delivered training and/or orientation programs for FSSAI internal staff (Food Safety Officers, Designated Officers), Custom Officers and FBOs; focused on operational compliance, regulatory obligations, best practices in food safety, packaging, labeling, etc. x.Served as Link Officer to Authorized Officer (AO) for Food Import Clearance, ensuring accurate and timely inspections of imported consignments, issuance of NoC; and served as part of review panel for applications filed by Importers against decisions of AO. xi.Handled investigations of complaints from consumers, industry, and stakeholders; ensured timely resolution and corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance and public confidence,
