    January 2021 – August 2025 i.Served as Central Licensing Authority for seven Eastern states, managing licensing, inspections, and enforcement under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 to uphold regulatory standards across a large region. ii.Led the implementation and oversight of the Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) in these states, to streamline licensing, inspection, sampling workflows, improve enforcement coordination, and reduce processing delays. iii.Conducted technical reviews and approvals for Food Business Operators (FBOs), ensuring compliance with safety, packaging, labelling, quality, and regulatory norms; flagged, corrected, or rejected applications failing to meet required standards. iv.Organized, planned, and executed multi- state enforcement drives and inspections; carried out joint-raids with state authorities; carried out search, seizure, suspensions, prohibitions during identified high- risk periods and cases to protect public health.
